Angelo Copon

Directing

Angelo Copon is a young filmmaker whose stories revolve around barkada narratives, coming-of-age, and comedy, as colorfully portrayed with crayons and colored markers using mixed media animations in his short films EMO!!! (2023) and Ang Mahiwagang Paglalakbay nina Princess at Kulas (2024). As a writer turned director, his films also explore teenhood and growing pains through British-punk influences and Filipino raunchy-comedy inspirations as seen in his short films Date Night (2024), and Starguy and I (2025), and Running with the Fishes (2026). He was also the President of FEU Film Society from 2025 to 2026.
