The trained singer and occasional sex film actress (“Hausfrauen-Report”, 1971) became a joker and comedian who liked to show herself in suspenders and bodices. She became known above all as Jolanthe von Scheußlich through the cult series "Klimbim", in which she stood in front of the camera together with Ingrid Steeger. Volkmann starred in numerous other TV series, including "Die rote Meile" (1999) and "Schloss Pompon Rouge" (1991).
