They were nominated for the 2021 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for the role. Clemons-Hopkins is the first, out, gender non-binary actor to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy award, in the awards ceremony's 73-year history.
