An independent Palestinian filmmaker, editor, and producer living in Syria, born in 1987. He graduated in engineering, specializing in decoration and interior design, in 2009. After that, he worked as an assistant engineer in his field of study, then shifted to filmmaking, developing his practice through many cinema workshops. His first feature documentary film, “My Memory is Full of Ghosts,” received a Special Mention at the “Visions du Réel” festival, in addition to the Best Arab Documentary Film award at the El-Gouna Film Festival in 2024. In 2025, he was selected to participate in Berlinale Talents. He directed the short fiction film “An Ordinary Day” in 2020 and the short documentary “Summer, City and Camera” in 2022. Since 2023, he has been a cinema teacher at the High Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Theater Studies, and he is currently working on many promising Syrian film projects. He is also working on his second feature documentary film, "Disappeared," which was recently supported by AFAC, Aflamuna, and CineGuna at the El-Gouna Film Festival.
