Lucy is Senior Commissioning Editor for Drama in England. Lucy has been responsible for work across the breadth and range of BBC Drama. Her work includes factual dramas such as the multi-award winning series Three Girls by Nicole Taylor and The Sixth Commandment by Sarah Phelps; Steve McQueen’s internationally acclaimed Small Axe films; Jeff Pope and Neil McKay’s series Four Lives, The Moorside and The Reckoning; BAFTA-winning Damilola, Our Loved Boy; A Very English Scandal and A Very British Scandal; Kidnapped; and The Trial of Christine Keeler. Other notable drama includes Nicôle Lecky’s multi-award winning and ground-breaking series Mood; Russell T Davies's series Years and Years; Abi Morgan’s series The Split, River and Emmy-winning The Hour; Peter Bowker’s The A Word and Ralph and Katie; WW2 epic World on Fire; Jack Thorne’s Best Interests; Jane Campion’s Top of the Lake; and powerful Jimmy McGovern dramas Broken, Care, Anthony, and multi-award winning prison drama Time. Prior to joining the BBC, Lucy was deputy head of drama at Channel 4, where her work included the multi-award-winning drama Sex Traffic.
